En esta presentación realizada en el Museo Británico el 13 de enero de 2011 por Leif Isaksen, Kirk Martinez y  Graeme Earl de la Universidad de Southampton,  se hace un resumen de los datos obtenidos tras cursar una encuesta a más de 60 profesionales que trabajan en el ámbito del patrimonio cultural en el mundo, al respecto del uso de la Web Semántica en su trabajo y de su adecuación y enfoque hacia la linked open data web.

Este artículo escrito por D. David Parra, D Juan José Sánchez y Dª Celia Chain en septiembre de 2009 analiza las bases metodológicas que se están empleando con relación a un caso específico como es el del Archivo Naval del Mediterraneo de Cartagena (España) y pone de relieve cómo dichas directrices metodológicas basadas en la web semántica son aplicables a otros entornos en el ámbito de Latinoamérica a partir del uso de una lengua común como el castellano.
