In Next Web people explore and discuss on opportunities related to web 2.0, semantic web and semantic technologies applied to the web, Web 3.0 and, in general, evolution and future of the Internet.
The community discusses the future of the web and the way in which the set of technologies enabling internet will influence the development of the socio-digital life, the building of the digital identity of people and organizations, and the acceleration of learning social processes. All thanks to the exercise of simultaneous sociability and access to ubiquitous information and intelligence.

Apunta a una web más contectada y señala cómo la viviremos a través de nuevas aplicaciones sociales, Su visión destaca nuevos buscadores, un 'marketplace' online, y soluciones contra el 'phishing' y el 'spam'.Ben Hunt casts an eye to the future of a more connected web and how we will experience it through new social applications.This vision features insights into new search engines, an online marketplace, and solutions for phishing and spam. The Next Web Blog fue lanzado en enero de 2008 como resultada de la Next Web Conference. Al de poco tiempo, el blog adquirió vuelo propio hasta el punto de que, en la actualidad, tiene 600.000 visitantes únicos al mes. El sitio tiene como objetivo el mantener actualizados a todos sus lectores y seguidores sobre todos los aspectos de la cultura de internet, lo que supone un hecho diferencial con relación a otros blogs de tecnología.
