The NeOn toolkit is a state-of-the-art, open source multi-platform ontology engineering environment, which aims to provide comprehensive support for all activities in the ontology engineering life-cycle. The toolkit is based on the Eclipse platform, a leading development environment. The toolkit provides an extensive set of plug-ins (currently 45 plug-ins are available) covering all aspects of ontology engineering, including: relational database integration modularisation visualisation alignment project management The NeOn Toolkit is part of the reference implementation of the NeOn architecture.
