Pellet es una razonador de ontologías OWL DL de código abierto desarrollado en Java. Puede utilizarse junto con Jena y Librerías OWL API; también provee de un interface DIG. Pellet incluye funcionalidad que posibilitan ver la validación de especies, chequear la consistencia de ontologías, clasificar taxonomías, comprobar implicaciones y responder a una subclase de consultas RDQL (conocidas como consultas Abox en terminologías DL)Pellet is an open-source Java based OWL DL reasoner.
