In Next Web people explore and discuss on opportunities related to web 2.0, semantic web and semantic technologies applied to the web, Web 3.0 and, in general, evolution and future of the Internet.
The community discusses the future of the web and the way in which the set of technologies enabling internet will influence the development of the socio-digital life, the building of the digital identity of people and organizations, and the acceleration of learning social processes. All thanks to the exercise of simultaneous sociability and access to ubiquitous information and intelligence.
Companies, venture capitalists, institutions, researchers, professors, start-ups, bloggers, advanced internet users, internet activists and, on the whole, anybody who believes in the technology power of social transformation, have their new space in Next Web, a community promoted by the GNOSS Team.

Base de conocimiento XCRI, una librería de artículos y recursos sobre el intercambio de información relacionada con los cursos (siglas del inglés, eXchanging Course Related Information). La base de conocimiento XCRI se creó como respuesta a la demanda al JISC por parte de las instituciones educativas de una única fuente de información sobre XCRI, el modelo de información y esquema recomendado por el ‘Information Standards Board’ nacional (Reino Unido) en enero de 2009 como el 'eProspectus standard' en Reino Unido.

Los días 26 y 27 de Abril tendrán lugar en Londres un seminario donde se hablará del progreso en los últimos 5 años de los datos abiertos en el ámbito bibliotecario. Esta reunión estimulara el desarrollo de las representaciones de la Web Semántica de los grandes modelos internacionales de metadatos bibliográficos, incluyendo IFLA's Functional Requirements y International Standard Bibliographic Description (ISBD), MARC y RDA.
